HiPOD (15 May 2018): Knobs in Adamas Labyrinthus

This image covers cluster of kilometer-scaled, dome-like structures associated with flow-like units. They are also superposed on the fracture suggesting some sort of connection between these phenomena.

Amazing photograph of Queen Victoria’s wedding veil and preserved wreath of orange blossom flowers, worn by Victoria during her wedding ceremony to Prince Albert on the 10th February 1840. This photograph is amazing because Victoria was buried wearing the veil, so it hasn’t been seen for over a century.

HiPOD (5 May 2018): Pettit Crater Wind Streak and Intracrater Dunes

Part of the rationale for this observation is to Look for dune bedforms that may be related to thermal inertia and particle mobility. This crater was named after Edison Pettit, an American astronomer (1890–1962). (283 km above the surface; scene is less than 5 km across.)

What he has is pure empathy. He can assume your point of view, or mine, and maybe some other points of view that scare him. It’s an uncomfortable gift. Perception’s a tool that’s pointed on both ends.
